Shannon Livermore
Shannon Livermore graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans in 2005. Ms. Livermore joined the Law Offices of Scott A. Cannon in 2005 as a legal assistant. She began law school at Loyola Law School in New Orleans in 2006 while continuing to work with the firm. Ms. Livermore received her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010. While at Loyola, Ms. Livermore was an active member in Loyola’s Trial Advocacy program where she competed in mock trial competitions throughout the country. She received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship for outstanding organization and participation in Trial Advocacy.
Ms. Livermore represents both professional and individual clients on matters ranging from insurance/casualty defense and personal injury through trial and appeal. Ms. Livermore is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the 22nd JDC Bar Association, and the 34th JDC Bar Association. She is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Louisiana as well as the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Livermore is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
In 2019, Ms. Livermore partnered with Mr. Cannon and The Law Offices of Scott A. Cannon officially became the firm of Cannon & Livermore, LLC.
